Group Lessons
- Level Specific Group Coaching class. They are run on in 10 week series with a curriculum that builds on the skills covered in previous
weeks. Our player:court ratio is a maximum of 6:1. These are group coaching classes divided into the following levels: Beginner,
Intermediate, Advanced & Competitive
Drill Groups
- These classes are are great drop in style class, complimenting the specific skill development of the group lessons. The coach will run
drills and games that are designed to develop specific skills and strategies. It is possible to purchase a discounted pack of classes. These
groups are divided into the following levels: Beginner/Intermediate. Intermediate/Advanced.
Cardio Tennis
- All level (unless stated) Group Tennis Exercise class. This class is great fun. We have exciting hi energy music to compliment the hi
energy drills and games that make up the class curriculum. Like the drill groups, the cardio class is a wonderful way to compliment the
group lessons. They are a great fun way to launch a weight loss program. Getting back into tennis? Cardio tennis provides a great
opportunity to find your game and find some suitable opponents. It is possible to purchase a discounted pack of cardio classes.
League team Tennis
- All level League Team Doubles. This great program offers players a chance to play in a team doubles league with other players at their
level. Six 6 person teams at Beg., Int. and Advanced levels play every Friday evening between 7 to 9.30pm. Each friday evening 3 of the
teams 6 players will play so players are not committed to playing every friday evening. The schedule of play is managed by the players
themselves. This is a perfect environment in which to practice your skills against other players of a similar level in an enjoyable, social
and mildly competitive environment. Players will continue the social aspect of the evening in the local bar ("D4").
Junior Player Progression: Tickled By Tennis - 4-6yrs. Tickled Quick - 6-8 yrs. Junior Challengers (Beginners) 8-11yrs. Junior
Development (Intermediate) 12-15yrs. Junior Excellence (Advanced) 12-18yrs. Junior Competitive 12-18yrs
Young players with strong skills will be moved up to levels suitable to their skill level.
Class Types
Beginner:
Players new or still developing their racquet skills. These classes will focus on the technique of all the shots, controlled movement
exercises, and hitting a lot of balls.
Intermediate:
Players who hit groundstrokes with pace and topspin. These classes will focus on developing the technique of all the shots, athletic
movement exercises, competitive drills, and lots of rallying.
Advanced:
These players can hit aggressively with all the shots and they defend the court athletically. These classes will focus on strategic point
creation using both competitive and athletic drills.
Competitive:
These players currently play 4.5 or higher competitive tennis; or they have played college tennis in the past and are returning to tennis.
The drills are competitive, fast and very athletic. Live ball competitive point play is the norm.
